Hello??

Good-bye 2012!!

So at some point this got away from us.  We made it a strong two months and then it just sort of fell off a steep cliff into the abyss below.  I am going to try again.  I am going to start by evaluating my resolutions from last year…

1.  Start a blog – hmmmmm, well, we already saw how that went.  Perhaps I should have specified starting and maintaining…

2 & 3.  Eat healthier and Exercise regularly.  MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!  With the assistance of my Transcontinental Accountability Partner and MyFitnessPal - which is free - I ate a healthy diet, drank more water and counted calories!  I also lost 15 pounds!  Hollah!!

4.  By a bigger house.  This is still a work in action… we decided that it was best to wait for the right home and circumstances rather than rushing it for the sake of a resolution.  So it has been bumped forward.

5.  Run (and survive) in a Zombie 5k.  Yeah.  That's right a MOFO ZOMBIE 5K complete with obstacle course.  Well, so much for the Zombie 5K.  Due to schedule changes with the Hubby's ship, I was unable to compete.  HOWEVER, I did run in the Color Run with G-Ma and the kiddies.  All of us.  It was kind of awesome!!

6.  Write a book for Hubby.  Yeah, that didn't get done – at all.  'Nuff said.

So this year, I don't really have any resolutions, but I do have some Pish Pish Pish-es that have been thrown around.

Walk to Alabama from California or vice versa.

This is actually a family fitness challenge, and before you get all I'm-Calling-Child-Protective-Services-On-You, I don't mean that we are ACTUALLY going to walk from California to Alabama.  We are simply going to log our exercise mileage to attain a total of 2,000 miles per family.  Meaning, that if I take a one mile walk with my family, that would be total of 4 miles, one for me, one for the hubby, one for each of the kids – not counting the Bear.

The Great Photobook Challenge

This was thrown down by my counterpart.  The challenge is to complete two pages per month per child for an end of the year photobook to share with them at the end of the year.

The Camera Tote Challenge

Bring your camera with you everywhere.

How did your resolutions go?  Do you have any gauntlets you would like to throw down?
